Frequently Asked Questions

Do I need to know anything about websites to work with you?

Nope. I’ll guide you through everything — from picking a domain to getting your site live. You just need to know what your business does.

How long does it take to get a site live?

Usually 2–4 weeks. It depends on how complex the site is and how quickly we can go back and forth.

Can you just fix one thing on my current site?

Yep. I take on small Webflow fixes — layout issues, form problems, SEO tweaks — whatever you need.

Do you use templates?

Sometimes, when it makes sense. But I always customise them so your site feels like yours, not anyone else’s.

Can I make edits to the site myself later?

If it’s in Webflow, yes! You’ll get editor access and I can show you how to update content.

What’s included in a website launch?

A designed and built website, connected to your domain, and fully live — with all the tech bits sorted.

What happens after the site goes live?

You can either keep me on for support or run it solo. I’ll be around for changes, updates or fixes if you need me.

Can you move my site from Wix/Squarespace/WordPress to Webflow?

Absolutely. I’ll migrate it properly and make sure everything still works (and ranks) after the move.

Do you write copy?

I can help you shape the content and give pointers, but if you want full copywriting I can loop in someone great.

What if I change my mind halfway?

We work in stages, so if something feels off, we can pivot early — no stress.

How do I pay you?

Usually a fixed one-off price or split over a few months. Hosting and support are separate.

Do you only work with New Zealand clients?

Nope! I’m based in Auckland but happy to work with anyone, anywhere.

What platform do you use?

Webflow — it’s flexible, powerful, and easy to manage once we hand it over.

Can you help me get found on Google?

Yep. I set your site up with solid SEO foundations — titles, meta, structure, and Google indexing.

What’s the difference between design and development?

Design is how it looks. Development is turning that into a working site. I do both.

Do you offer ongoing support?

Yes — weekly or monthly plans available for changes, updates, and advice.

What if I need help in a year?

Just flick me a message. I don’t disappear after launch.

How much does a website cost?

Depends on what you need. Most launches start at $500–$3,000, with optional ongoing support.

Can I use my own domain?

Yes. I can help connect it or set up a new one for you.

Will I own my website?

Yes — it’s all yours. You’ll have access to everything.

What if I don’t know what to put on my site?

No worries — I’ll guide the structure and content to match your business.

Do you do eCommerce?

I can help with light online payments and Stripe links. For full eCommerce, we’d need to chat about the best setup.

Can you help set up email?

Yep — I can connect your domain to a proper business email (e.g. you@yourcompany.co.nz).

Can you do forms that send to my inbox?

Yep — every site comes with working forms that send to your email.

Can you help with SEO after launch?

Definitely. I offer audits and updates for existing sites.

Do you build apps?

Not really. I focus on marketing sites and lightweight tools. But I can point you to someone who does.

Can I see examples of your work?

Sure thing — check out my projects on the 'Works' page.

Can I host my Webflow site for free?

Sort of — Webflow offers free staging, but you’ll need a paid plan to connect your domain.

Do I need a logo before we start?

Not necessarily. If you have one, great — if not, we can work with what you’ve got or create something simple.

Can you help me choose a Webflow template?

Yes — I can recommend a good starting point and customise it so it feels like your own.

Can I sell things on my site without Webflow eCommerce?

Yep — I can set up Stripe payment links so you don’t need a full eCom plan.

Do you offer payment plans?

Yes — you can pay upfront or over 3–12 months depending on the scope.

Can I get a quote before committing?

Of course — just tell me roughly what you need and I’ll send through options.

Do I need to sign a contract?

Yep — just a simple agreement so we’re both clear on timelines, deliverables and payment.

Will my site be mobile friendly?

Absolutely. Everything I build is responsive and works on phones, tablets and desktops.

Can you help with Google Business setup?

Yes — I can get you listed and optimised so people can find you locally.

Do you do social media setup?

Not usually — I focus on websites, but I can help link or embed your feeds.

Will I be able to edit blog posts?

Yes — if we use Webflow CMS, you’ll be able to add and edit posts anytime.

Do you offer content strategy?

Light guidance, yes. For deeper strategy or copywriting, I can recommend someone.
